In the Russian Federation in 2024, 97% of disputes were resolved towards the consumer.
March, 3rd. /MEDIA TALK/. The head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, spoke about the results of the agency's work in the field of consumer protection.

In 2024, the territorial bodies of the service issued 16,500 conclusions on cases in order to protect consumer rights, and in 97% of cases decisions were made in favor of citizens.

This is reported by TASS with reference to the statement of the head of the department. Since the introduction of the class action institute in 2019 (including the pandemic period), about 250 such applications have been filed.

An important achievement was the active work of the regions in this direction. By the beginning of 2025, 80 subjects of the Russian Federation had developed and implemented their own regional consumer protection programs, which made it possible to effectively involve both regional and municipal authorities in this work.
