In 2024, there were slightly more men in the ranks of new entrepreneurs — 497 thousand out of 978 thousand registrations. But in 2023, women were slightly ahead — 498,000 out of 980,000.

If we talk about business lines, women entrepreneurs most often choose retail trade, services, real estate transactions and catering. They are also active in the transport and construction sectors.
